THE BLOOMBERG BIDOUN LOUNGE at the DIFC Gulf Art Fair (March 7-10) includes a VIDEO BOOTH screening two rolling programmes of video, including work by Akram Zaatari, Wael Shawky, Ahmet Ogut, Iman Issa and Solmaz Shahbazi,
curated by Bidoun and the Third Line. A READING ROOM includes a selection of books and magazines on contemporary Arab and Iranian art. ARTISTS featured in the Lounge include Susan Hefuna, Huda Lutfi and Ala Ebtekar. Bidoun has
also commissioned limited edition artworks from emerging artists based in the UAE, including Haig Aivazian, Loreta Bilinskaite, Amna Al Zaabi, Raghda Bukhash and Nadine Kanso. The Lounge is open to all throughout the fair.

Bidoun ( www.bidoun.com ) supports contemporary artists from the Middle East, publishing quarterly magazine Bidoun and Bidoun Books, and organizing artists’ projects and events.
